Transgender men undergoing phalloplasty and metoidioplasty have a high rate of urethral stricture. Evaluation stricture includes evaluation symptoms uroflow, cystoscopy, retrograde urethrogram. Important anatomic differences between the phallus cis-gender transgender increase likelihood complexity treating strictures in after surgery. Urethral masculinizing procedures are more likely to require open surgical treatment recur treatment. There is paucity data, but less invasive options such as dilation urethrotomy had minimal success. Open with variety techniques, including one-stage two-stage higher success rates strictures, there comparative data on outcomes.
